Youth Programming

TBDJ offers a variety of programming for our youth, with a goal of creating an inclusive, educational and fun environment for all youth, no matter of age, school or background. Below you'll find details of our regular and special programs. Our Youth Committee Chairs, Keren Ludvig and Andrea Szlamkowicz, can always be reached at youth@tbdj.org for questions, comments or suggestions.

Camp Ilan @ TBDJ brings the summer camp experience to TBDJ, every Shabbat and Holiday. Run together with the successful Montreal daycamp Camp Ilan, under the direction of Camp Director Zack Isakow and TBDJ Youth Directors Arielle Bensimon and Ariella Eisenberg, youth from Nursery through Grade 6 have a home at TBDJ every week. Trained counselors lead activities that provide our youth an opportunity to have fun, learn, and daven the tefillot of the day. In addition to weekly programming, Camp Ilan @ TBDJ hosts unique programs for Purim, Pesach, Shavuot, Chanuka, Tu B'Shvat, and other special occasions, as well as periodic movie nights and other fun activities.

Led by their own Gabbayim - Yoni Drazin and Binyamin Freundlich - and under the direction of TBDJ Director of Education Rabbi Eddie Shostak, the Youth Minyan begins at 9:30am on Shabbat and concludes with its own special kiddush. For additional information or any questions, please contact Rabbi Eddie Shostak at eddie@tbdj.org
