for a special Shabbaton, in memory of Tracy Ashkenazi-Kimmel z'l
Moishe Bane has been serving as president of the Orthodox Union (OU) since January 2017. Mr. Bane, formerly of Montreal and Congregation TBDJ, is a senior partner at the international law firm of Ropes & Gray. Much of his time, however, has been dedicated to service within the North American Orthodox community. Mr. Bane has written and lectured extensively and is a founding editor of Klal Perspectives, a journal addressing contemporary public policy issues within the American Orthodox community.

On Friday night, Mr. Bane will address us through his knowledge of, and vast experience working with, Jewish communities around the globe. His remarks will be tailored to the particular issues affecting our community and the topics of interest to us.
